Lil Wayne Says Pilot Supports His Side in Jet Assault Lawsuit

Lil Wayne says a private jet pilot is backing his version of events in an ongoing lawsuit filed by his former assistant, according to new court documents.

The rapper claims the pilot recently gave testimony that disputes allegations made by former assistant Andrew Williams, who sued Wayne in 2022 over an alleged altercation aboard a private aircraft.

The case remains unresolved, but the latest legal filings show both sides continue to dispute what happened during the reported incident.

Lil Wayne Points to Pilot Testimony

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Lil Wayne says the pilot’s deposition challenged Williams’ account of the alleged confrontation.

Williams previously claimed that Wayne punched him while they were traveling on a private jet.

The former assistant alleged that the incident happened after he attempted to intervene in a disagreement between Wayne and the pilot.

In the new filings, Wayne said the pilot’s testimony “impeached” Williams’ version of events, arguing that the account provided by his former assistant does not match what the pilot described.

The documents represent Wayne’s position in the ongoing legal dispute. The allegations made in the lawsuit have not been proven in court.

    Dispute Over Alleged Injuries

Lil Wayne also addressed Williams’ claims regarding injuries he allegedly suffered during the incident.

According to the rapper’s legal filings, Williams sought medical attention after the alleged altercation but was reportedly found to have no swelling and no significant injuries.

Wayne’s team stated that Williams was prescribed ibuprofen but allegedly did not take the medication.

The rapper further claimed that additional medical providers also did not identify injuries related to the alleged incident.

However, Williams’ lawsuit argues that he was harmed during the confrontation, and the legal dispute over what occurred remains active.

    Lil Wayne Requests Another Deposition

As part of his legal strategy, Lil Wayne is asking the court for permission to question Williams again under oath.

The rapper wants to conduct another deposition to address what he describes as new information that emerged from the pilot’s testimony.

A deposition allows attorneys to question witnesses under oath before trial, with the answers becoming part of the legal record.

Whether the court approves the request will determine the next step in the discovery process.

    The Background Behind the Case

Andrew Williams filed the lawsuit against Lil Wayne in 2022, accusing the rapper of assault during a private jet trip.

Williams alleged that he became involved after attempting to stop a dispute involving Wayne and the pilot.

Lil Wayne has disputed the allegations and has continued defending himself through court filings.

The case has now moved into a stage where both sides are gathering testimony and evidence to support their versions of events.

    Why It Matters

Legal disputes involving major entertainers often attract public attention because they place private conflicts under intense scrutiny.

In this case, the testimony of the pilot could become an important piece of evidence if the lawsuit proceeds further.

However, the outcome will depend on the full record presented in court, including testimony, documents, and any additional evidence submitted by both sides.

For Lil Wayne, the lawsuit represents another legal challenge connected to his public career.

For Andrew Williams, the case is about his allegations and claims regarding an incident he says caused him harm.

As both sides continue presenting their arguments, the central question remains what exactly happened aboard the private jet and how the court will evaluate the competing accounts.
