Megan Thee Stallion Scores Win as Blogger Deletes Crucial Evidence

Megan Thee Stallion just gained a major victory in her ongoing legal battle with blogger Milagro Gramz. On Thursday, October 9, Judge Lisette M. Reid ruled against Gramz after determining she deleted crucial evidence in the case.

According to court documents, Gramz erased “thousands of text messages” from her phone, even after being instructed to preserve all relevant communications. The deleted content likely included key conversations pertinent to Megan’s defamation lawsuit.

Since the messages are permanently lost, Judge Reid stated jurors can assume the deleted content would have harmed Gramz’s defense.

Megan Thee Stallion's defamation lawsuit against commentator Milagro Cooper is set for trial, and jurors will be specially instructed that Milagro "deleted thousands of text messages" despite a written notice not to.

The Evidence Destruction and Legal Consequences

Megan’s legal team had specifically warned Gramz—whose real name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper—to retain both physical and digital records the day before the lawsuit was filed. Despite the notice, Gramz deleted messages and removed WhatsApp from her phone, erasing potential evidence.

The court’s ruling also requires Gramz to cover Megan’s legal costs related to raising the missing evidence issue. Both sides now have five days to negotiate the payment amount, including fees connected to the evidentiary hearing.

    Background: The Defamation Lawsuit

The case began earlier this year when Megan filed a defamation lawsuit against Gramz, accusing the blogger of spreading false information and collaborating with Tory Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, to fuel a smear campaign.

Megan alleged that Gramz acted as a “mouthpiece” for Lanez, contributing to years of online harassment following the 2020 shooting incident. The lawsuit also claims Gramz circulated a deepfake pornographic video of Megan, intensifying the rapper’s legal action.

    Previous Penalties Against Gramz

This is not the first financial penalty levied against Gramz. In July, the court ordered her to pay $5,000 to cover Megan’s legal costs for failing to provide her text messages. The new ruling adds further financial accountability for Gramz’s attempts to obstruct evidence.

    What This Means for Megan

The court’s decision is a significant win for Megan Thee Stallion, reinforcing her case and demonstrating that the legal system can hold online harassers accountable. By penalizing Gramz for deleting evidence, the ruling strengthens Megan’s defamation claims and highlights the seriousness of social media misconduct in the entertainment industry.

    Fan Reactions:
Fans have praised Megan for her persistence, with many taking to social media to support her fight against online harassment and smear campaigns.
