Quavo and Offset are linking up again — and this time, the former Migos members have new music on the way.
The two rappers reunited at Quavo’s surprise listening party Saturday, where Offset joined him to preview their upcoming collaboration, “Away.”
The track is set to appear on Quavo’s upcoming album, Qrömelife, giving fans their first new collaboration from the pair in years.
A clip from the listening party shows Quavo and Offset vibing together as “Away” plays through the speakers, marking a notable reunion for two artists whose relationship has faced plenty of ups and downs since Migos’ run together.
Quavo also revealed that Qrömelife was created during a difficult period in his life. The album is executive produced by Pharrell and was recorded last year while Quavo was still dealing with grief.
“We made this project together last year at a time when I was still dealing with grief and needed to create and express myself,” Quavo wrote on Instagram.
That grief was tied to the 2022 death of Takeoff, the third member of Migos, who was fatally shot in Houston.
Quavo said Qrömelife chronicles his journey through difficult moments and how he found a way forward through faith, family and music.
“Qromelife is about the journey of me going through tough times in life and getting to the other side through my faith, family and my love for music,” he wrote.
The reunion with Offset could also be bigger than “Away.”
Quavo recently revealed that he and Offset are working toward making what would be Migos’ final album, potentially bringing the group’s story to a close with all three members represented through their legacy.
For now, “Away” marks another chapter for Quavo and Offset as they reconnect through the music that first made them a household name.
