Reginae Carter is making one thing clear to her social media followers: she’s an adult and doesn’t need her famous father’s permission to live her life.
The 27-year-old media personality recently responded to criticism after sharing a video of herself taking part in a pole-dancing class for recreation.
Carter, who hosts the popular “Heir Time” podcast, appeared to be enjoying the workout when some followers began criticizing the video and joking that they would tell her father, rap icon Lil Wayne, about it.
That did not sit well with Carter.

Carter fired back at the commenters, making it clear that she isn’t concerned about whether her father approves of her recreational activities.
“Wayne can’t stop nothing!” Carter wrote in response.
She also reminded her roughly five million followers that she is nearly 30 years old and was fully clothed while participating in the pole-dancing workout.
Carter urged critics to stop treating her like a child and allow her to make her own decisions.
Her response essentially boiled down to one message: she’s grown, and she intends to live accordingly.
Fans Threatened to Tell Lil Wayne
The criticism appeared to stem less from what Carter was wearing and more from the idea that her father might disapprove of the activity.
Some followers suggested that Lil Wayne should be informed about the video, seemingly invoking the rapper as a parental authority who could intervene.
Carter rejected that idea outright.
