Aubrey O’Day is reacting to reports that several former Sean “Diddy” Combs staffers have moved into Usher’s professional orbit, including Combs’ longtime chief of staff Kristina Khorram.
Rolling Stone reported September 24 that at least three people who previously worked closely with Combs have joined Usher’s camp for The R&B Tour, his 56-date run with Chris Brown. The group includes Khorram, a former personal assistant who testified during Combs’ criminal trial, and a photographer who had worked on a documentary involving Combs.
Khorram’s exact position with Usher has not been publicly confirmed, although Rolling Stone reported that she has some involvement with the singer’s current tour.
O’Day, who has been publicly critical of Combs for years, reacted to the report on X.
“Everything is always so telling, isn’t it,” she wrote.
She followed up with a more pointed comment directed at Khorram, writing, “I wonder if she’s still carrying the bag of colorful pills with her everywhere she goes,” before adding that she thought Khorram would never return to the country after Combs’ federal trial and suggesting she “must have friends in high places.”
The remarks were O’Day’s response to the reported personnel moves and did not establish any new allegation against Khorram.
Khorram worked with Combs for more than a decade and became chief of staff at Combs Enterprises in 2020. During the federal case against Combs, prosecutors identified her as an alleged co-conspirator and accused her of helping facilitate activities connected to the case. Khorram was never criminally charged and was not called to testify. She has denied the allegations.
The former Combs personal assistant who reportedly joined Usher’s team also became a witness during the trial. Rolling Stone previously reported that he testified about his work for Combs, including purchasing drugs and helping arrange hotel rooms for sexual encounters. He said Combs and Khorram did not ask him to transport drugs.
According to later reporting, Usher has already parted ways with that former assistant, while the photographer also reportedly moved from Combs’ team into Usher’s camp. Khorram’s current role remains less clearly defined.
O’Day’s reaction also comes shortly after she discussed her own experiences around Combs during an appearance on the Creator Inc podcast. She described an encounter at one of Combs’ parties and said she believed he was watching her reaction to what was happening.
The reported hiring moves have now placed former members of Combs’ inner circle in the spotlight again—this time around one of R&B’s biggest active touring productions.
