Drake is turning 40 this October, and the superstar has already revealed the one birthday gift he wants.
A Jim Carrey roast.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper shared his birthday wish Sunday after watching Carrey deliver a savage-but-playful roast of comedian Jeff Ross for Ross’ 61st birthday.
In the viral clip, Carrey went straight for the jokes, poking fun at Ross by saying he was such an “ugly baby” that his mother had to sign a non-disclosure agreement when he was born.
Drake clearly loved the performance.
“Wow this is now all I want for my birthday,” Drake commented on the post.
That puts the ball in Carrey’s court.
Ross, meanwhile, appeared thrilled by the unexpected celebrity reaction, praising Carrey and referring to the actor and comedian as a “Canadian mountain man.”
Celebrity roasts have long been a way for comedians and entertainers to show affection while taking some very public shots at their famous friends. For Drake, getting Carrey to turn those jokes toward him could make for a memorable 40th birthday moment.
Drake officially turns 40 on October 24, and he has plenty to celebrate after a massive year in music.
Earlier in 2026, the OVO founder released three full-length studio albums — “Iceman,” “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour” — which, according to the supplied report, simultaneously debuted in the top three spots on the Billboard 200.
“Iceman” has also become his longest-leading No. 1 album on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.

While Drake has not announced his plans for the milestone birthday, he has a reputation for going big. For his 39th birthday in 2025, he reportedly flew guests to the Bahamas for an extended tropical celebration.
Whether the 40th birthday party matches that scale remains to be seen — but Drake has already made one thing clear: he wants Jim Carrey on the mic.
And judging from Carrey’s Jeff Ross roast, Drake may want to be careful what he wishes for.
