Migos are coming back — and Quavo says this time, he and Offset want to give the legendary rap group a proper final run.
Quavo confirmed the long-rumored Migos reunion during a recent interview, revealing that he and Offset plan to record one final album and hit the road for a world tour.
“We coming back,” Quavo said. “We’re going to do it one more time. We going to tour. We going to do it right.”
The announcement carries extra weight nearly four years after the death of Takeoff, the third member of the Grammy-nominated trio, who was killed in Houston in November 2022.
Migos had already been going through a highly publicized period of personal and professional tension before Takeoff’s death. But in recent years, signs of a Quavo-Offset reconciliation have increasingly surfaced, including the two rappers being spotted together in the studio.
The pair also gave fans an early glimpse of a possible reunion at the 2023 BET Awards, where they performed a surprise tribute to Takeoff.
Now, Quavo says the goal is bigger than simply releasing new music. The final Migos project is being positioned as a celebration of the group’s legacy and a chance to close out one of hip-hop’s most influential runs on their own terms.
It remains unclear whether the album will include any posthumous vocals from Takeoff.
Migos’ most recent full-length album, Culture III, arrived in 2021 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Afterward, Quavo and Takeoff continued performing together as Unc & Phew, while Offset pursued his solo career, including his 2023 album SET IT OFF.
Before the Migos comeback gets underway, Quavo is expected to release his solo project QRÖMELIFE on October 2, with Pharrell Williams handling production.
No release date or official title has been announced for the final Migos album, and the group’s tour dates have yet to be revealed.
Still, the prospect of Quavo and Offset sharing a stage again is already a major moment for fans who watched Migos transform from Atlanta rap stars into global hitmakers with songs including “Versace” and “Bad and Boujee.”
After years of tension, loss and solo chapters, Migos may finally get one last moment together.
